And then I read my former teacher's enjoyable and envy-inducing blog, and there are so many other places in the world I could be planning to save money to visit or live in for however long a tourist visa allows...rather than gunning to move back to the same city in which I've already lived...

So maybe I don't love this city. But maybe I could like it for awhile, even learn to love it, and work to move the relationship to a bigger city, with more opportunities, more diversity....or maybe if I give it enough time, I'll see more of that here, and discover pockets and cultures I've yet given the chance...
